“Toys for Tots ‘07”

     This Sunday 11-4-07, I went to Van’s. I met up with Van, Leonard & Ken. At 8:00 AM we left for Woodland, CA for the Toys for Tots ride, where the Marines give toys out to needy kids over Xmas.

     We arrived a little after nine & after turning in our toys we immediately went to the coffee & doughnut table & then relaxed visiting all our friends. We went over our stories about our ride to & from Sioux Falls, SD. Everybody had a good time on that trip.

     Today was very nice & the weather was sunny & 78 degrees. After everyone showed up they had drawings for many, many goodies. I think just about everyone got a prize & we also got a big bag of rice that was grown locally.

     Again I ended up being the oldest rider, I'll take every one I can because that means that I'm still here. After all the prizes were given out, we all said our good-byes & headed out for home.

     We took a back road with very little traffic & when we got to hwy 80 the traffic was still light so it made our ride home relaxing. Now we are just waiting for our next ride to come up, which could be the SLO ride or the Polar bear ride on New Years Day to San Andreas.
