SHRINER’S HOSPITAL TOY RUN

After a week of nice sunny weather, it turned into a rainy day for our ride to the Shriner’s hospital for our stuffed toy run. George & I were the only ones that made it from our group, but there was a very good turnout for the run (around a hundred) so it was a success.

When I left home it had been raining earlier but had quit. I met George on highway 12, still dry ----Then when we got on hwy 5 it started & didn't slow down until we got back to Rio Vista where George turned off to go home.

It was dry the rest of the way to Concord & then it started again which was fine because we do need it. So ended the day, which turned to be a good one & we got to see a lot of our friends there & we know that the kids will be happy with their toys. It was another good ride.

Now we are just waiting for the next one which will be open house at Wingnut in Fairfield on April the 29th. So everyone get your fun clothes on & make it another great day.

     As ever Herb.
